The Spanish public healthcare system (Seguridad Social) does not cover dental treatments, with the exception of tooth extractions performed in public healthcare centers. As a result, patients generally pay for dental treatments themselves. However, treatment costs are significantly lower than in most other European countries. For every treatment you receive a fixed, written quote at your free first consultation. At our clinic, check-ups and dental X-rays are even provided free of charge.

Even with private insurance, patients usually remain self-paying. However, they may benefit from reduced rates if the dental practice has an agreement with their insurance provider. This can be seen as a form of volume discount. We currently have agreements with Allianz, Cigna, Aegon, El Corte Inglés, BNP Paribas, MetLife, and Cardif.

That depends on your insurance plan. Some Mutuas offer reembolso (reimbursement), allowing you to visit dentists outside their network and then claim reimbursement from your insurer. In practice, treatment at Mutua rates is not always necessarily cheaper. We offer free consultations, allowing you to obtain a non-binding treatment estimate and compare costs before making a decision.

As a general rule, EU citizens have enjoyed freedom of choice of healthcare provider within the European Union since 2002. This means you are entitled to the same reimbursement or subsidy that you would receive in your home country. We are accustomed to issuing invoices in English, German, or French, making it easier for you to submit claims to your insurance provider. You would initially pay for the treatment yourself and then submit the invoice to your insurer for reimbursement.
